It's Midwinter's Day, folks - the solstice, the shortest day.
Spring is indeed just around the corner; from tomorrow the days get longer...
I always love the day...but alas..our cold and snow hasn't even arrived here yet..been very mild.

ReplyDeleteMr Herford was apparently referred to in his lifetime as "The American Oscar Wilde", despite the fact that he was British (born in Sheffield).
