Freethinking, sexy broad with a dirty mouth

Many happy returns to Miss Joan Collins, 80 years old today!

"The compartment that's easy to put me in is 'freethinking, sexy broad with a dirty mouth, who pretty much does what she wants'. But there's more to me than that."

    2. Because I'm a kind, loving, charitable queen, I'll give Joanie the benefit of the doubt in the surgery department. She doesn't have that weird, pulled look that so many even younger gals have, so she's either telling the truth, or has a damn good surgeon. She's also very artful with her makeup and, even in the 1960's and 1970's, always had a "harder," older look than her years, so I guess the difference isn't SO noticeable.

But the wigs? I say, HA! She and her mate Shirley Bassey probably have a swap club!

    1. Joan, on Warren Beatty's claim that they made love seven times in one night: "He might have. I just lay there."

    2. Mamie Van Doren claims that, during Joan and Warren's affair, Warren was constantly trying to put the make on her.

Of course, as much as I love that crazy peroxided broad, anything Mamie Van Hooters says needs to be taken with a Double D-sized shaker of salt.

    1. Perhaps that's the key of longevity -- just laying there. Otherwise you wear yourself out!

  4. Thanks to the tiara worn on the wedding of Princess Diana and to Alexis Carrington-Colby-Dexter's blazing jewellery, I became a jeweller. Thank you for affecting me so deeply Joan.
