DeleteI was listening to a centenary tribute to him on BBC Radio 2 the other evening, and they did feature a couple of utter stinkers he recorded in a lull time in his career, but those would never feature on any anthology released... Jx

ReplyDeleteThere are many differing versions of what she said. I have no doubt the man was thoroughly disagreeable, but as one biographer wisely described the Sinatra-Gardner affair: "...in the end, they were poison for each other. They were too much alike.” Jx
