CAMP: "A cornucopia of frivolity, incongruity, theatricality, and humour." "A deadly, winking, sniggering, snuggling, chromium-plated, scent-impregnated, luminous, quivering, giggling, fruit-flavored, mincing, ice-covered heap of mother love." "The lie that tells the truth." "Ostentatious, exaggerated, affected, theatrical; effeminate or homosexual; pertaining to or characteristic of homosexuals."
pink, honey, pink!
ReplyDeleteI'll need to ditch the "light tan" shoes, though. I wouldn't want anything to clash... Jx
DeleteGo with the cotton candy pink...it offers somewhat more protection from the cold weather. And the tall hat can double as a signal beacon for emergency services in case you get stuck in the snow.
ReplyDeleteSave the yellow for Easter...it'll go well with yellow marshmallow Peeps accessories.
Darling, we're in London - it's the rain we need to worry about. Hope it's waterproof!
DeleteAnd yes - I think the yellow one is a bit more subtle, so can wait till Spring :-)

I'm sure after Liz spots you sporting your fabulous headgear, she'll replace all the Royal Guards bearskin hats with a similar knock off and debut them at Harry's wedding. It'll be stylish and the bears won't have to be nekkid this cold winter and spring.
DeleteA Royal Wedding, as styled by Liberace - I think it sounds like a fab idea! Jx
DeleteIt depends on whether you want to be a toilet bowl brush or the sink scrubby.
ReplyDeleteIf I spin round really fast I could be a car wash. Jx
DeleteI wearing some crinoline and a feather or two myself this weekend.
ReplyDeleteps. just discovered you FABULOUS blog. I can see why the Mistress Borghese is smitten.
DeleteWelcome, darling! And your outfit sounds like a perfect "light casual" look for a weekend... Jx
Delete“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”.....a day and evening look me thinks.
ReplyDeleteAdaptable for all occasions... Jx
DeletePink, definitely! It has the class and sophistication of Lady Penelope dressed as the Bride of Frankenstein for a costume party. Whereas Yellow looks like a partially shaved Rockhopper penguin.
ReplyDeleteImagine that description on a promo poster - "You, too, can look like your favourite Antarctic wildfowl, with the latest stylish creation from the House of Hogg!" Jx
