CAMP: "A cornucopia of frivolity, incongruity, theatricality, and humour." "A deadly, winking, sniggering, snuggling, chromium-plated, scent-impregnated, luminous, quivering, giggling, fruit-flavored, mincing, ice-covered heap of mother love." "The lie that tells the truth." "Ostentatious, exaggerated, affected, theatrical; effeminate or homosexual; pertaining to or characteristic of homosexuals."
How wonderful! She was patron of the charity Scope when I first joined it back in 2000, but relinquished that position (among many other patronages) not long after, so I never had that opportunity. She seemed like a lovely person. Jx
No-nonsense, smile sweetly, do your duty - she was all that, but with a real human touch. She gave up royal duties to teach music in a school in Hull, of all places, and for 13 years she was known to the children as "Mrs Kent". Bless. Jx
I met her a couple of times; lovely lady.

DeleteI have always had a soft spot for her. She was everything a royal should be.
