  3. The Amasons were, apparently, very popular

    Musical Roles: Boyd handled the songwriting and guitar, while Floyd played the double bass, harmonica, and sang lead. Before turning to gospel, Floyd played jazz in the Parker-Sullivan Quartet, and Boyd performed in coffeehouses.

    Not my cup of chai, but, there you go

    1. "Boyd" and "Floyd" - their parents had real imagination, didn't they?

      "Popular" is a relative term, I would say. "Popular in the Southern Baptist bible-belt" is probably more accurate. Jx
