  2. The first rule of hat: don't have straggly hair.

  3. Oh yes! I always love seeing pictures from this big Brit hat event every year! It seems like fun to make one for the heck of it! I think I could pull off that orange one from the second to last photo. Not bad at all! The "carrots on the plate"-hat make me think of Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit.

    1. I think it would be great fun just to try them all on! I'd wear that last pink one to Pride if I could.

That carrot one is a hoot! Jx

  4. Les dazzlers !
Les dames anglaises savent assurément porter un chapeau. :)
Mais aucune n’est plus remarquable que le reine Elizabeth II,
    elle nous manque tellement. 🇬🇧

    1. Everybody still mourns HM The Queen Elizabeth. She may no longer be with us, but we're off to see an exhibition of her outfits - and hats! - next month at Buck House... Jx

    1. I know. You often wear something of that ilk to go shopping in Morrisons. Jx

  6. I love that butterfly hat too. Very Grace Jones!
I'm not keen on the second photo's jungle hats, though - those poor women look like they're being attacked by parrots/cockatoos.

My grand mum and aunties always loved showing off their Easter hats.
One auntie is particular would wear the most outrageous of hats.
