I've been opening portals since I was 17 years old. I remember the first time mine was opened... oh, no, my dear... I was so not prepared. I had no clue. More trick than treat.
So many so-called "ancient" traditions were in fact conjured up in Georgian and Victorian times and bear little relationship to the primeval festivals that pre-dated Christianity. And Disney. Jx
