It was a lovely day... I had my piano tuned. And I am prepared to sucede summer to fall... it was a lovely year. And autumn is so gentle this year. Like the world is about to take a delicious nap. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteAfter the searing summer we had in the UK, this transitional period into autumn proper is mainly pleasant and mild and very welcome... Jx
DeleteI can't lie....its a perfect first day of autumn here. Nice blue skies...70 degrees...sunny and a nice cool breeze. That said Ill always be a summer person.
ReplyDeleteI always hate autumn when it really kicks in (September is generally "late summer" here, and even October can be warm). To me, it's the Season of Death and Decay. I'm a Spring and summer girl, myself! Jx
DeleteI do enjoy Autumn as it (usually) means I can go for a walk without getting hideous sunburn/roasted alive/drowned in sweat/covered in bug bites etc. etc. Plus, the garden still has enough going on, and the sea is still warm enough for a swim!
ReplyDeleteWith the grim weather today, I can guarantee I wouldn't be stripping off on a beach on the North Sea, tbh. Jx
DeleteOh dear, roll on Spring
ReplyDeleteOh, yes indeed. There's a lot worse to go through before that, however! Jx
