CAMP: "A cornucopia of frivolity, incongruity, theatricality, and humour." "A deadly, winking, sniggering, snuggling, chromium-plated, scent-impregnated, luminous, quivering, giggling, fruit-flavored, mincing, ice-covered heap of mother love." "The lie that tells the truth." "Ostentatious, exaggerated, affected, theatrical; effeminate or homosexual; pertaining to or characteristic of homosexuals."

All hail! Indeed. She was lovely.
ReplyDeleteOne of the loveliest. Jx
DeleteI love Yvonne DeCarlo. Such a stunning and talented woman. Sadly 95% of Americans only remember her as Lily Munster. If any of them even remember that.
ReplyDeletePeople have goldfish memories about so much culture these days. It saddens me that being a moron is somehow seen as a badge of honour. Jx
DeleteWhat lovely gifs. She was a looker and so stylish. I remember, as she aged, her distinctive up-dos. Always jet black. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think she may have gone to the same hairdresser as Ann Miller. Jx
DeleteWhat a gorgeous woman! Since she was born in Vancouver, BC I count that close enough to consider her a local! A true talent, indeed.
ReplyDeleteObviously there's something in the air...☺️ Jx
