CAMP: "A cornucopia of frivolity, incongruity, theatricality, and humour." "A deadly, winking, sniggering, snuggling, chromium-plated, scent-impregnated, luminous, quivering, giggling, fruit-flavored, mincing, ice-covered heap of mother love." "The lie that tells the truth." "Ostentatious, exaggerated, affected, theatrical; effeminate or homosexual; pertaining to or characteristic of homosexuals."

We loved him, and were looking forward to hearing him again on Boom Radio at Easter. Very, very sad today. Jx
DeleteI loved Paul and I loved Lily. Paul-Lily, Lily-Paul. A bit of one (or possibly a lot of one) in the other. I feel the loss.
DeleteJudging by the tributes, so did everyone. Jx
DeleteFirst our Darcelle and now Lily Savage. Why did Im come back from vacation???
ReplyDeleteBut I did miss your dearly dear.
I read about Darcelle. At least she got to live to be 92. Paul/Lily was only 67...
